Love Your Belly Movement

This is the Love Your Belly Movement.

This is a body positive movement. It was designed by Hailley & Gina-Marie, two best friends who are committed to loving themselves and supporting women everywhere in doing the same. The Love Your Belly Movement, also known as LYBM, is a movement designed to encourage women to stand tall, live bravely, dream BIG and celebrate their perfect bodies and bellies exactly as they are.

Designed by women, for women.

Bold. Free. Self Love.

The LYBM Community.

Hailley and Gina-Marie created LYBM in 2017 as a call to action. A call for all women to join the #loveyourbellymovement in support of female empowerment and body positivity. They saw countless women show their bare bellies via Facebook and Instagram and were beyond inspired. They continue to be inspired and encouraged by this movement everyday. They can’t wait to share it with you. Take a stand for yourself, celebrate your body as it is and join the #loveyourbellymovement today.

Here’s how it’s done: 1. Take a picture of your belly 2. Upload the picture of your belly to Instagram or Facebook 3. Use the tag #loveyourbellymovement 4. Inspire others to do the same.

Let’s inspire the world together! Join us on our Love Your Belly Movement Facebook Page or follow on Instagram @loveyourbellymovement and become a part of this beloved community.

“When I happened to stumble upon the “Love Your Belly Movement” on Instagram, I felt a little less alone and empowered by real women rocking their bodies. Our stomach is such a place of power and creation, the “core” of who we are.

It’s time we embrace that power and stop allowing society to shame us for anything other than the flat tummy we’re continually sold. It’s time we lift each other up as women and empower one another to rock our own original beauty.

Thanks to women like Gina-Marie and Hailley who founded “Love Your Belly Movement,” our bellies are being celebrated and a new light shown on our bodies.” - Leann Rimes

5 Ways to Start Loving Your Belly

“I’m all about self-love. So, when I caught wind of the upcoming Love Your Belly Workshop run by Hailley Wollak and Gina-Marie Vincent Runnels at Big Power Yoga, I perked up. Learning to love your belly sounds like a great way to practice loving yourself. But when you’ve spent your whole life hating, how do you flip the switch?

I sat down with Wollak and Runnels to talk it through. Our conversation churned up insights and five practical tips. Here are the highlights.”

Love Your Belly Movement celebrates tummies of all sizes

“HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- You might remember Lady Gaga's epic Super Bowl half time performance just a few months ago. After that performance, social media erupted with negative comments about Lady Gaga's body.

Two Houston women who saw the cyber firestorm decided to react in a positive way… “We're just tired of women being scrutinized in that way, and we want to empower women to love their bodies exactly as they are," Runnels said.”

Bold self-love is scary but empowering

“Self-love isn’t woo-woo or selfish. On a basic level, it’s about being kind — i.e., not beating ourselves up all the time; being willing and eager to give praise.

This topic has been on my mind since my recent column about the Love Your Belly Movement: “A movement designed to encourage women to stand tall, live bravely, dream BIG and celebrate their perfect bellies exactly as they are,”created by Hailley Wollak and Gina-Marie Vincent Runnels. One of their main suggestions? Regularly naming three to five things you love about yourself. It’s a fabulous self-love how-to.”
